To assist you in completing a workflow step, you can add another user or any user in a role to your workflow step. You maintain your original step to complete, but you can ask for help or gather addition comments or information from other individuals in your organization, such as a subject matter expert or a discipline apprentice.
The submitter must complete the first step in the workflow before the recipient of
a step can add another user or role.

In your To Do List, right-click the workflow step, and then click Add Recipient.

Select the user or role that you want to assist with completing the workflow step. The additional recipients receive a parallel workflow step in their To Do List.
The original recipient of the workflow step must complete their step; however, it
is not required that the additional recipients complete their step.
