The Administrator Panel can be used to clear the license history, remove a record for a single user, and perform license tests for daily licenses and perpetual licenses.
Clear User
Select user - Displays a list of the active users found in the SmartPlant Foundation license database. Select the user name from the list and click Clear to remove the license assignments for that user. The user should now be able to log in.
Clear - Removes the license allocation for the selected user from the active SmartPlant Foundation license database.
Unlock History User
Select user - Displays a list of users found in the SmartPlant Foundation historical database. Select the user name from the list and click Unlock to release the user. The user should now be able to access SmartPlant Foundation.
Unlock - Checks in any inactive non-daily licenses for the selected user from the SmartPlant Foundation license database.
Delete History
Select date - Type a date or click Calendar to select a date. All records in the history database before the selected date are cleared. The default is 30 days prior to the current date.
Delete - Removes all records in the history database prior to the Select date value.
Perform a License Test
Daily License - Checks out a daily license. Be aware that this test, if successful, uses a daily license that cannot be checked in.
Perpetual License - Checks out a perpetual license (concurrent). If the perpetual license is checked out successfully, it must be released before it can be used again.
The results of either of these tests appear below the commands. After either command
is completed, the command buttons turn green (successful) or red (unsuccessful). The
time that the test was run appears in the tool tip for each button.
