Reasons for receipt allow you to define why a user is receiving an assignment, such as work, information only, and comment. This object is used on the transmittal matrix assignments and workflow step recipient forms. For more information about configuring the transmittal functionality, see Setting up transmittals.

Select File > New > Workflow > Reason for Receipt to display the New Reason For Receipt dialog box.

Type a unique name and description for the reason for receipt.
The description is used in the Reason For Receipt (RFR) column item in the To Do list column set and so should not be left blank.

Select the Information only option if the reason for receiving the transmittal will be only for informational purposes.

Click Finish to create the new reason for receipt.
