To preview the output of the rules configured in a template, do the following steps:

In the Associate Rules for Template pane, select a configured rule and click Preview Rules
to open the Preview Rules for Template window.

In the Preview Rules for Template window, click Browse Drawing File
to select a drawing file.

Select the check boxes for the rules you want to preview.
You can only view a preview for the StaticText, RelatedText, Pattern, and ScatteredText
rules.

Click Preview Rules.
