The SmartPlant Foundation adapter is the software component that acts as the interface between SmartPlant Foundation authoring and the Schema Component. The Adapter fetches the data that needs to be published from SmartPlant Foundation authoring, loads up the necessary component and map schemas into the schema component, and then transforms the data from one format to another.
