The following three properties, which can be set on the class definitions in the Schema Editor, control how objects are created or available for claim in the configuration.

Configuration Controlled |
Set to True if the objects are to be created within a configuration, such as a plant or project. Set to False for configuration independent data, such as administration items. |
Dependent Configuration |
Set if the objects can only be created within a particular configuration. For example, set to SPFPlant for the SPFProject class definition. |
Claimable |
Set to True if the objects are to be available for a claim action. Set to False if items of this type never need to be claimed. |

To see these properties, select SPF Extensions in the Category box on the Properties tab when editing the class definition in the Schema Editor.
