Problem
The border file will not display when clicking View and Markup on a file in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.
Possible Cause
This can occur after restoring a backup in an integrated environment, when the master files have been moved to a new vault and the reference files have not been moved.
Solution
Set the location of reference files, such as border files, using SmartPlant Markup Plus:

Click Tools > Options.

From the Preferences tab, click Viewer Options.

From the View tab, enter the UNC or local file paths for the locations of the files in the Reference file search path box.
Use semicolons (;) to separate multiple paths.
For example: \\[Server name 1]\share\borders;\\[Server name 2]\share\files

Click View and Markup on the file in the Desktop Client to see the border.
