The shortcut menu commands for generating a PDF file (or any other alternate rendition) are delivered with the software. You can customize these commands using the following steps:

Log on to the Desktop Client on the SmartPlant Foundation application server.

Click Find > Administration > Client API.

In the Name box, type GenerateAlternateRendition and click OK.

Right-click GenerateAlternateRendition, and click Show Methods.

Right-click the method you want to customize, and click Update.
