Click New > Administration > Toolbar in the Desktop Client. The New Toolbar form is displayed.

Type a Name and Description for the new toolbar.

In the Display As box, type the display name.

In the Sequence box, type a value to determine the order of appearance on the toolbar.

To display the toolbar with an icon, in the Icon box, type the file name (without the extension) of the icon associated with the toolbar.

Icons must be located in the [drive]:\Program Files (x86)\SmartPlant\Foundation\Server\Icons folder.

Icons must be in .gif format.

In the ToolTip text box, type the tooltip text to be displayed.

In the Method box, select the method to be called when the button is used.
The method must have an access group.

In the Owning groups box, select the owning groups who will have access to the toolbar. This is an optional step.

Click Finish to create the item.
