The system provides the ability to place a workpack and hence each of its registered deliverables into re-plan mode. This enables the plan dates for the workpack and deliverable production steps to be revised. Plan dates are not revised directly; instead, re-plan dates are entered which can be reviewed and approved before accepted as plan dates.
Details of the properties and functionality exposed by these interfaces are given in the sections that follow.
SPFPrgReplan class
ISPFPrgReplan interface
This is the primary interface of SPFPrgReplan.
When the system is put into replan, one replan object is created. Deliverables in workpacks which are placed in replan mode as a result of this can have their replan dates set. The replan can then either be accepted or rejected. If it is accepted, all the deliverables which had replan dates specified will have their plan dates replaced with their replan dates. if this means that the plan dates no longer conform to the deliverable's time string, a new time string will be created (if necessary) and applied to the appropriate deliverable.
