Single window, always docked |
Displays list view windows in one fixed window, with new windows opening as tabbed items in the same space. With this option selected, you can close tabbed items by clicking the X in the top right corner. The window doesn't close, just the tabbed item. Other windows (such as the New Items window or Properties window) are not affected by this option and can be moved, docked, and undocked. |
No tabs |
Specifies that the list view display will not contain tabs. This option is available only when you select Single window, always docked. |
Multiple floating windows, dockable |
Displays list view windows as floating windows. Floating windows can be hidden and docked. |
Create all new windows as tabs |
New windows are created as tabs. This option is available only if the Multiple floating windows, dockable option is selected. If this option is turned off, all new windows appear as separate windows. |
Create only query windows as tabs |
Only query windows are displayed as tabs. This option is available only if the Multiple floating windows, dockable option is selected. |
Show relationship expansions as tabs |
Displays the results of relationship expansion commands to display as tabs. This option is available only if the Multiple floating windows, dockable option is selected. If this option is turned off, the results appear in a new window. |
Display a separate window per configuration |
Displays each configuration in a separate window. |
Close windows when the configuration is changed |
Closes all list view windows and refreshes the tree view when you change your active create configuration. Using this option prevents you from seeing data that was retrieved in the context of a different configuration. |
Show tabs in the To Do List automatically |
Displays the To Do Lists and the List of Notification tabbed together. This option applies only if the Multiple floating windows, dockable option is enabled. |
Modeless forms |
Displays multiple forms at the same time. If you select this option, you can leave forms open while performing other activities. For example, you can leave a create form open while you create or query for dependent data. If this option is not selected, you must close the current form to perform other activities. |
Maximize external file viewing windows |
File viewing displays in new tabs. The system administrator must set Display mode to OPEN for the FileViewNavigate and ViewNavigateFiles methods delivered on the Navigate client API. For more information, see Navigate client API. |
