Owning groups can also be used to determine the file vaulting strategy. Vaulting strategies can be based on object properties, such as project and status, but the simplest strategy is to relate a vault to an owning group.
-
Choose an owning group, and select Actions > Manage Vaults.
-
An owning group can only be related to one vault, but many owning groups can be related to the same vault.
-
When an object is related to an owning group, attached files are added to the related vault. If the owning group of an object is changed to a different vault, any attached files are also transferred to that vault.
