Roles are related to a set of access groups with domains and owning groups optionally configured on these relationships.

Search for a role, and select Actions > Manage Access Groups.

Add or remove the access groups as required.

Select the owning groups or domains to configure for the relationship.

The domains accessible for query are all the domains configured on the role-to-access group relationships for the user and all their dependent domains.

At least one domain must be configured on the role to access group relationships, otherwise, the user cannot access any domain information.

You can restrict method access based on the ownership of an object, select the owning groups that you want to restrict the access to in the Owning Group column.
