Problem
When importing a database dump file that was created on Oracle 10g R2 to a database running Oracle 11g R2, the following error may occur:
--IMP-00058: ORACLE error 942 encountered
--ORA-00942: table or view does not exist .. rows imported
This error is observed in the Server Manager logs <ServerManager Root Path>Temp\ServerManager or when performing the import manually.
Solution
This error can be ignored. This is a known Oracle issue. The data is imported but may end up in the wrong tablespace. There is a workaround, in that you must make sure you create the prdetails tables before import.
