An email digest is a collection of notification messages that are sent together instead of separately. A user preference can be set in the Desktop Client to receive digests instead of individual email messages.
This service allows each user to configure a time period over which email will be collected and grouping for consolidation related emails (for example by project). This configuration is described below.
The email digest also supports the attachments sent along with the emails.
You can customize the From address for an email digest by editing the Email::DefaultFromAddress property on the SiteName > Settings node in Server Manager. If you are using SDx deployed in Smart Cloud, this must be done for you by the Smart
Cloud Team.
