In the Business Administration feature set, select Create Template Documents.

On the New Template Document form, select a document classification type from the list.
When assigning classification to the object, you can use the Classification search bar to search and filter for the appropriate classifications based on their
Name and Description.

In the Main Details section, add the name and description for the new template document, as well as any details and values as required.

In New Files pane, add files to the template from the LOCAL FILE SYSTEM tab by selecting CHOOSE FILES to locate and attach files or drop the files onto the indicated area.

Select FINISH to create the Template Document.

The template files selected are automatically added to any newly-created document by the create method configured with the same classification.

The template document Status is set to RESERVED and the revision Status is set to WORKING by default.

You can only select a single owning group to relate to a template document.

If the document class is configuration-controlled, then it is possible to provide different seed files per configuration based on the scope without changing the method. For example, you could create the same template document for different configurations so that each configuration could have its own seed files when you create a document.
