Configure viewable files - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

The Web Client offers you control over the visibility of certain files in merged and alternate renditions through the IsFileViewable condition. A file would not be visible in the renditions if the Viewable property is disabled in the Desktop Client. To configure viewable files in merged and alternate renditions, you must complete the following steps:

1. In the Desktop Client, click Find > Administration > File Type to open the Find File Type window.

2. Select one or more options from the Enter name and Enter description drop-down lists.

   All the file types would be displayed in the Find File Type list if no options are selected.

3. Click OK.

4. In the Find File Type list, right-click the file type, and click Edit Relationships.

5. In the Edit Relationships window, click Maintain Attributes for pdf to open the Update window.

6. In the Update window, select the IsFileViewable option from the Alternate rendition condition drop-down list.

7. Click OK.

• If the Viewable (SPFViewInd) property on the file is set to True, the file would be processed, otherwise skipped.

• Merged renditions from all workflows will be checked by the alternate rendition condition on the PDF before proceeding further.
