  1. Select Find > Reports.

  2. Right-click the report that you want to schedule to run at a specific time and select Edit Report Definition.

  3. In the Scheduled date calendar, select the date and time for the report to run.

  4. Select OK to send the report to a scheduler. A message appears stating that the report is running in background mode.

The results file created by the scheduled task is stored in the vault and attached to the notification generated for that task.

Check the processed scheduled reports

You can check and display the processed scheduled reports using the List of Notifications option on the toolbar. Follow these steps after the scheduled date and time you have set for the report to run have passed:

  1. Select List of Notifications BTN List of Notifications on the toolbar to see the processed report.

  2. Right-click the report, and then select View Report to display the report.

    If the Download as Zip File checkbox is selected, when you select View Report, you will see the list of files included in the zip file. You can unzip these files to any location.

Run a report as a recurring scheduled task

  1. Find the scheduled task by selecting SPF DTC BTN ScheduleTasks Query for Scheduled Tasks on the toolbar.

  2. Right-click the report, and select Update.

  3. In the Submission count box, enter the number of times you want to run the report. For example, enter "5" to run the report five times and stop.

    SHARED Tip Enter "-1" in this box, to continue to run the report until you cancel the scheduled task.

  4. If necessary, edit the start date or time when the report will be run the first time.

  5. In the Resubmission interval box, specify how much time the system should wait after running the report before it runs the report again.
