Problem
Export process may hang at the third stage of the export process with the following error:
ORA-01424: missing or illegal character following the escape character
Solution
This issue is most frequently encountered when exporting documents with attached files that contain the % character in the file name. It can be resolved by removing the % character from the attached file name.
