Which roles have permissions to create or update a workflow template?

Users assigned to the following roles have the permissions to create or edit a workflow template:

  • Business Administrator

  • SDx Administrator

  • Document Controller

  1. In the Workflow Management feature set, click Workflow Templates.

  2. Search for and select a workflow template to update.

  3. Select Actions > Update to edit the workflow template in the Template Details window as described in Create a workflow template.

    You can select Actions > Delete Completed Workflows to remove any existing completed or terminated workflow instances previously processed by the workflow template.

    Removing any existing completed or terminated workflow instances already processed by the workflow template can help reduce your database growth and maintain your systems performance. This setting works asynchronously as a scheduler task across the system regardless of the configuration. However, be aware that intensive database activity could potentially occur deleting a lot of completed workflows.
