You can configure the roles to appear in the Add recipients dialog box by configuring specific roles or all roles as parameters on the Add recipients method. If no roles are configured on that parameter of the Add recipients method, the roles available on the Add recipients dialog box are the roles available to the current user in the configuration of the object of the workflow item.
You can hide the roles panel on the Add recipients dialog box.

Select the Add recipients method, and then click Update.

Type FALSE in the Show roles box.
