You can create methods to attach a specific workflow to new documents or other objects, without making your user select a workflow definition from the Attach and Edit Workflow dialog box. By configuring a method to use a specific workflow definition, all new objects created with that method will automatically be attached to that workflow.
For existing documents and objects, users must select a workflow definition from the Attach and Edit Workflow dialog box.

Create a new method using the AttachWorkflow client API, or edit an existing method based on that client API. For more information, see AttachWorkflow client API.

In the Workflow processing option box, type the name or UID of the workflow definitions that should automatically be associated with the object using this command.

If necessary, provide text in the User notification message box to customize the confirmation dialog box that will appear to the user when the object has been placed in the workflow.
