Problem
An error occurs when Data Capture 3D Reader Pre-Processor in the Desktop Client uses the default OleDB provider Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.Provider.12.0 to process the 3D models. The software displays the following error:
Unable to connect Access database with provided OleDB Provider
Solution
The error occurs when the default OleDB provider Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.Provider.12.0 cannot connect to the Microsoft Access database engine. To avoid this scenario, we recommend you to do either of the following:

Install Microsoft Access database engine (32-bit) instead of (64-bit) version, as 64-bit is not supported by HxGN SDx on the client workstation.

Type OleDb provider as Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 to connect to the Microsoft Access database. For more information, see Process the files using the 3D Reader Pre-Processor module.
If you are using Data Capture 3D Reader Pre-Processor in the HxGN SDx application server, then we recommend you to use Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 OleDB provider to connect to the Microsoft Access database engine 2010 (64-bit).
