When merging a complete configuration, the merge action must be initiated from the parent configuration level. For example, if you are merging an entire project configuration to a plant, this must be done from the plant. Any items that are attached to the merge progress notification item because they failed to merge are attached from the lower configuration or project than the current selected scope. Therefore, to review any failed items that are attached to the notification item, you must change your scope to the lower configuration or project. You can navigate to the merge progress notification item and expand the relationship definition to view the logging file and see all the failed items shown in the correct context, otherwise they are not shown.
