Export a report definition to an .xml file - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

The following steps describe how to export a report definition from the SmartPlant Report Administration module to an .xml file.

1. Select a report definition from the Maintain or Create Report Definitions list.

2. In the main toolbar, click Export the selected report definition .

3. In the Save As dialog box, choose the file name and location to which to export the report definition, and click Save.

• You can export only one report definition at a time.

• When a report definition is exported, the .xml file contains the following objects:

  • The view definition

  • The graph definition used to create the view definition

  • The relationship definition tags to the primary interface for the view definition

  • The relationship definition tags to the primary interface for the graph definition

  • Any access groups granted view access for the report definition (if applicable)

  • The access group or groups granted edit access for the report definition
