In Progress Package progress method, you can create progress items, assign ROC Set IDs and then, retrieve the progress steps for each progress item by performing Apply ROC Steps to Project Progress Item action.

Setup and Maintain Progress Package

This procedure allows you to setup the progress package in the Progress Item panel.

  1. Navigate to Progress > Earned Value.

  2. Click the Earned Value tab.

  3. In the Progress Method column, click the Progress Package hyperlink for an object. The Progress Item panel appears.

  4. Click the Insert Row icon to add a progress item.

  5. Type in a unique Progress Item ID and Progress Item Name.

  6. Click the ROC Set ID ellipsis and select the required ROC set ID for the particular progress item.

  7. Enter the allocated hours in the Allocation Hours field.

    By default, one hour is allocated for all the progress items.

  8. Type in the Notes.

  9. Click the Rules of Credit Action hyperlink.

    • If you click the Apply hyperlink, the progress steps that are declared for the project in the Package ROC Templates - Project are applied. These details appear in the Progress Steps panel.

      Apply action applies ROC steps to the individual project progress line item.

    • If you click the Reset Rules hyperlink, the progress steps of the selected item will be deleted.

    • (Optional) In the Progress Steps panel, type the value in % Complete.

  10. Click SAVE. The fields Package Documents and Rules of Credit Action auto-populate.

    • If the Progress Item Preview %Complete is greater than 0, the Reset Rules option will not be available. Contact your administrator to reset the progress item.

    • You can customize the view of the Progress Item panel from the view settings.

    • If you click Package Documents hyperlink, the live connectors associated with the particular progress item appears.

Apply ROC Steps Project Progress Item

This procedure allows you to populate the progress steps that are declared for the project in the Package ROC Templates - Project.

  1. Navigate to Progress > Earned Value.

  2. Click the Earned Value tab.

  3. Click the Actions list and select Apply ROC Steps to Project Progress Item.

  4. Click the Project ellipsis and select the required project.

  5. Click RUN and then OK.

  6. In the Progress Item panel, click Progress Item ID hyperlink. The Progress Steps panel appears on the right-hand side.

    The progress steps that are declared for the selected project in Package ROC Templates - Project appear in the Progress Steps panel.

  7. If the Progress Method ID is selected as Percent Complete, type in the % Complete. For the other methods, the % Complete value is auto-populated from Integration with SDX.
