This procedure allows you to view and update the general attributes of a project.

  1. In the Project Details panel, click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected project appears in the Project ellipsis. To change the project, click the Project ellipses and select the required project.

  2. Edit the Project Name.

  3. (Optional) Type an Alternate ID.

  4. Click the ellipsis to select the required values in the below fields:

    • Security Organization - Select the required security organization.

      Status of the project auto-populates.

    • Responsible Organization - Select the organization that is responsible to maintain the project.

    • Project Controller - Select the project controller.

    • (Optional) Portfolio - Select the required portfolio. This adds the current project to the selected portfolio.

    • Project Manager - Select the project manager.

    • (Optional) Client - Select the client for the project.

    • (Optional) Location - Select the location where the project would be setup.

  5. (Optional) Attach the project related document.

    1. Click the Attachment icon.

    2. Click UPLOAD and then click Choose File to select a file to upload.

    3. Type the description of the document in the Document Description.

    4. To view or save the attachment, click the attachment hyperlink.

  6. (Optional) Click the Project Logo icon and follow step 5 to attach a project logo.

    The saved project logo must be stored in the server, see Server Settings to Store Logo.

  7. (Optional) Select the Time-Phase check box to time-phase the budget, change, and forecast data.

  8. (Optional) Type in the Objective.

  9. Click SAVE.

Server Settings to Store Logo

To store the saved project logo in the server, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a folder with the name Reportimages in C:Ecosys/Esfm_Home.

  2. Navigate to Admin > System Utilities.

  3. Click the Edit Server Settings tab.

  4. Update your server details in the highlighted URL below.

  5. Delete # in the URL to enable the server.

  6. Click the Save hyperlink.
