This procedure allows you to update the issue attributes using the General tab in the Issue Details panel.

Issues listed in the Issue Register panel with Draft or Open status indicate eligibility for updating and adding comment line items.

  1. Navigate to Changes > Issues.

  2. Click the Issue Register tab.

    You can update only the Issues in Draft or Open status.

  3. Click the Issue ID hyperlink. The Issue Details panel appears.

  4. Click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected issue appears in the Issue ellipsis. To change the issue, click the Issue ellipsis in the green parameter bar and select the required issue.

  5. Edit the required Issue Name.

  6. Type in the Alternate ID.

    The Type, Status, Create User, and Create Date, and Close Date fields auto-populate. The Close Date field auto-populates only when the issue is closed.

  7. Type in the Owner Email.

  8. (Optional) Attach the issue related document. To attach the document, perform the following:

    1. Click the Attachment ellipsis.

    2. Click UPLOAD and then click Choose File to select a file to upload.

    3. Type the description of the document in the Document Description.

      To view or save the attachment, click the attachment hyperlink.

  9. Type in the required Comments.

  10. Click SAVE.
