Select the Insert Pipe Tap Command on the Piping Tab.

Select the piping part, straight feature, or turn feature on which to insert the tap. You must have Write permissions for the object on which you want to insert the tap.
The software does not support inserting taps on mating parts.

Select the tap size from the Options list and the tap depth from the Offset list.

If necessary, select a reference position other than the default. As the cursor moves over each entry in the list, the corresponding position highlights in the 3D model view.

Optionally, type a Distance relative to the Reference Position to place the tap.

Either type or select a value from the Rotation Angle list, or select Rotate to use the Rotate Controls.

Complete the placement:

Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
