After creating space objects such as volumes, you can modify or delete them. In general, you can move a volume to a different location in the model and change the placement points and faces of a volume. In some cases, movement and rotation can distort the volume's shape. When the points of the volume are associated to points in the model, such as grid intersections, it might not be possible to move or rotate the volume. You can drop the associative points of many types of volumes, and then move, rotate, and change the size and dimensions of the volume.
Deleting Volumes
You can delete volumes and other related objects. In some cases, deleting an object causes other objects to be deleted. For example, when you delete a drawing volume, the associated views are deleted.
Object status and your permissions affect whether or not you can modify or delete an object. A volume that is set to Approved cannot be modified or deleted. However, you might be able to modify or delete a volume that is set to Working.
The controls available for modifying volumes depend on volume type. Select a volume graphically or from the Space Hierarchy Explorer to open the modification controls for that volume type.
Selecting a volume placed using the following Space Management Tab > Volumes commands opens the Modify Volume By Points Controls:

Grids Command (if the volume has no associations)
Selecting a volume placed using the Space Management Tab > Volumes > Shape Command opens the Modify Volume By Shape Controls:
Selecting a volume placed using the Space Management Tab > Volumes > Path Command opens the Modify Volume by Path Controls:
Selecting a volume placed using the Space Management Tab > Volumes > Bound by Spaces Command opens the Volume Bound By Spaces Controls:
