Select Place Construction Rectangle by 3 Points
.The start point glyph displays next to the cursor.

Select in the model to define the start point for one edge of the rectangle.
The rectangle edge displays as a dashed line, and the second end point glyph displays next to the cursor.

Select in the model to define the end point of the rectangle edge.
The rectangle stretches from the defined edge to the cursor, and the height glyph displays next to the cursor.

Select in the model to define the height of the rectangle.
Smart 3Dx displays the rectangle.
While the command is active, you can press BACKSPACE to undo the last point that
you placed. After you place the final point, use Undo (CTRL + Z)
