This page specifies the operation name and which objects to include in the operation. You can select objects using a filter or by selecting a system that includes the objects to use.

Name

Specifies the operation name for the new Model Data Reuse operation. Every operation must have a unique name. The default name is Copy_Operation_[Date]_[Time]. We recommend names that describe the operation, such as "Pipe Rack 101 - 100 m East".

Source Objects

Specifies how to select objects for the operation.

From Systems - The objects for the operation are in systems that you select.

From Filter - The objects for the operation are selected by a filter.

From Systems

These options display when you select From System.

Systems

Select one or more systems to copy. You cannot select the top model node.

Selected Systems

Displays all the systems, both selected systems and children of those selected systems, that are included in the operation. Clear systems from the Systems list to remove them from this list.

From Filter

These options display when you select From Filter. Select a filter that contains the objects to copy.

Search

Type a filter name to search for that filter. As you type, all filters that match your search display. Search filter name is only available when you search for filters by List View Selection Browser ICON.

Com_Add ICON Create New Filter

Displays the Define Filter Dialog so that you can create a new filter.

Com_Rename Rename

Renames the selected filter. This option is only available on the right-click menu.

Modify Selected Filter

Displays the Define Filter Dialog so that you can modify the selected filter.

Com_Trash Delete Selected Filter

Removes the selected filter.

Selection Browser ICON List View

Displays the objects in a simple list format.

Com_View_Grid Detailed View

Displays the filter details in a table format. You can define Boolean operations on the categories to organize your filters. See Select Filter by Detailed View Dialog.

Folder View Folder View

Displays the filters in a tree view.
