The sub menus for Authoring are found on the SmartPlant main menu in the Desktop Client.

Access to the commands that allow PBS administrators to register the PBS tool as well as being able to publish data into from the PBS authoring domain |

Launch SPF |
Whenever the data warehouse is within a different instance of SPF this command will launch SmartPlant Foundation to enable a user to view this remote data. |

Registered Tools |
Allows users to view a list of authoring tools that have been registered. |

Tool Participants |
Produces a report on what tools are registered to all the Plants and the tool signatures. See example in the diagram below. |
