The delivered map files include mapping for all information provided by a tool that can be published. This mapping eliminates the need for you to define mapping for out-of-the-box objects and properties for each tool. However, this amount of mapping can affect performance and may produce more published data than you need.
To reduce the amount of data published and therefore to improve the performance of the system, you can disable the mapping relationships that you do not care to publish. Disabling these relationships improves publish, load, and consolidate performance and reduces the amount of data published from the tool into SmartPlant Foundation.

On the Map Relationship Definitions tab, clear any relationships that you do not want to publish.
-
Select an empty box to enable publish of the corresponding class, property, or relationship.
-
Clearing a class check box disables the publish of that object, regardless of whether any properties for that class are still checked.
