Documents can be created to manage line list records. The line list record document contains a grouping of the line list records and can be used to edit a group of line list records.

  1. Find the line list for which you want to create a line list record document. To find the line list, click Find > Line List > Line Lists.

  2. Right-click the line list, and click Create Line List Record Document.

    SHARED Tip If you are working in an integrated environment and have not registered the line list application (LLA) with the data warehouse, you must register before you can create a line list record document or snapshot. This is required because a revision must be reserved in the warehouse when the document is created. For more information, see Register SmartPlant Foundation.
