You can configure the properties that appear on the Retrieve dialog box by creating a custom column set of the properties you want to see or modifying an existing column set. Once your column set includes the properties you want to see, apply it to the tool signature for each tool that you want to use it on the Retrieve dialog box.

For more information, see Configure column sets.

The Retrieve dialog box in SmartPlant Client displays the default properties and the configured column set properties selected for the tool signature.

The DefaultRetrieveColumnSet is used on the Retrieve dialog box by default and includes the Description, Revision status, SPFTEFDataLoadStatus, SPFTEFConsolidateStatus, SPFTEFMergeDeltaStatus, and LastUpdatedDate properties.

Configuring properties to display on the Retrieve dialog box

  1. In SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, select Find > Integration > Signatures.

  2. Right-click a signature, and then click Manage Integration Options.

  3. On the Retrieve dialog column set list, select a column set to which the properties are configured.

The Retrieve dialog column set is not mandatory and can be left empty.

  4. Click OK.

After upgrading SmartPlant Foundation software to version 5.1 or later, you must set the DefaultRetrieveColumnSet property on the required tool signatures using the following steps:

  1. Connect to a plant in SmartPlant Foundation from an authoring tool.

You can connect to SmartPlant Foundation plant by launching any of the Revise, Publish, or Retrieve dialog boxes.

  2. Log on to SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.

  3. Select Find > Integration > Signatures.

  4. Right-click a tool signature, then click Manage Integration Options.

  5. On the Retrieve dialog column set list, select DefaultRetrieveColumnSet.
