Unmapping a mapped property removes the relationship between the tool and SmartPlant schema properties. Unmapping a mapped property is only recommended if you never need to publish or retrieve the relationship again. For example, if the initial mapping is incorrect, the correct solution is to unmap the relationship and create a new, correct mapping relationship.

  1. In the Mapped application properties table, select the tool map property definition that you want to unmap.

  2. On the toolbar, click Unmap unmap-icon.

Unmapping a relationship is a permanent action. The only way to restore the map relationship is to manually add the relationship with the Map command.

  3. If you want to remove both publish and retrieve mapping for the property, click the Retrieve tab, and repeat steps 1-3 of this procedure.

  4. Click OK.

The recently unmapped properties are displayed in the Unmapped application properties and Unmapped SmartPlant properties tables.
