Use the Integration option command on each tool signature to enable or disable the ability to validate the data being published. Set the Publish validation configuration option in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client to enforce the validation of data prior to publish.
The following table lists the value and description for the Publish validation property:

Configure the validation of data when publishing to plant or project

In SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, click Find > Integration > Signatures.

Right-click a signature, and then click Manage Integration options.

Select an option from the Validate publish data list.
