Use the Sort command to alphabetically sort properties at the top level and at each node level. You can also manually sort the properties by dragging and dropping a property within each node. At the node level, Sort is available in the shortcut menu. A checkmark beside the Sort command in the shortcut menu indicates alphabetic sorting is enabled.
Sorting behaviors:
-
When alphabetic sorting is enabled, you cannot drag and drop properties to change the sort order. You must uncheck Sort to manually change the order.
-
When you manually change the property order, you cannot automatically restore the original order. You must re-publish the project to get the original sort order.
-
You cannot manually sort properties in the Graphic Data and Hidden nodes.
-
The manual sorting order is stored only for the selected object, and it does not change the property ordering for a similar object.
To manually change the sort order:
-
Select an object in the model.
-
Click View > Properties.
-OR-
Right-click to open a context menu, and then select Properties. -
In the Label Data node and, for Smart 3D models, in the System node, you can select an individual property and drag it to a new location within the node.
