Animation > Playback/Capture Settings > Timestamp

Provides a way to show the current date and time of animations. You can set the location of the timestamp on the Main view and change the text color, size, font style, and transparency. The date and time formats are taken from the Windows Short date and Long time Region and Language display settings on your computer.

When you use Animation > Playback/Capture Settings > Record to create an .AVI file or a snapshot of the animations, the timestamp display is also captured and can be used as a watermark.

Timestamp Options

Location - Specifies the location of the timestamp on the Main view. As you highlight each location, the timestamp dynamically moves to that location. None turns off the timestamp display.

Color - Specifies the text color. The software opens the Color dialog box where you can select a standard color or pick a custom color.

Font - Specifies the typeface and other character styles for the timestamp. If you selected a text Color, that color is automatically selected.

Transparency - Defines the transparency of the timestamp text from 0 - 99% with 100% completely hiding the text. The default setting is 50%.

Sample - Provides a preview of the timestamp and is updated as you change color, transparency and font options. The background color represents your current Wireframe or Shaded background view setting (View > Display).
