Select Add > Annotation Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Info
on the Place toolbar.

On the Selection ribbon, select Client-Drawing-Identifier in the Type list.

Type a name for the identifier in the Identifier box. For example, type DI-001.

In the Graphics window, select the object in the pipeline to which to add the client drawing identifier.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software displays the corresponding short description (CDI)and the identifier text that you typed as the associated text.
You usually output the client drawing identifier only on spool isometrics. However,
you can also output the identifier on full isometric drawings.
