Select Add > Support Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Support
on the Place toolbar.

Select
to display the Select New Material dialog.

Select the item code for the type of support to place, and then select OK.
The Selection ribbon updates to show the details for the selected support type.

Select the primary direction for the support in the Direction list.

Position the support on the component.
The Selection ribbon updates again to show Keypoint position
, Max and Offset values.

On the Selection ribbon, type the required Offset. The Max box shows the maximum allowable value for the Offset. In the Offset box, type a value between zero and the Max value. You can also use
to cycle through component keypoints until you locate the point at which to position
the support.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software adds the support to the component.
To view the support as it will appear in the generated drawing, select Update Current View 
on the Tools toolbar.
