Select Add > Coupling Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Coupling
on the Place toolbar.

Select
on the Selection ribbon to display the Select New Material dialog.

Select the item code for the type of coupling to place, and then select OK.
The Selection ribbon updates to show the description for the selected coupling.

Position the coupling on the pipeline.

Select a point on the pipeline to define a reference position.

Type a value in the Distance box, and then select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
