Smart Instrumentation retrieves tags from SmartPlant Foundation using the central tag allocation system. The tag naming convention for Smart Instrumentation is defined in the Administration application. The delivered NamingConventionMap.xml is located at [installation directory]\SmartPlant\Instrumentation\XML.
