Check out the CMF_Ver file

  1. Click Find > Integration > Schema Documents.

  2. Right-click the CMF_ Ver document, and click Edit > Check Out.

  3. In the Check Out dialog box, click OK.

    Check out the CMF_Ver file to the folder as specified in the SiteSchemaLocation property of the SmartPlant Foundation Server Manager.

Create a new configuration

  1. Right-click the CMF_Ver document, and click Launch Schema Editor.

  2. In the Set Active Configuration dialog box, select the latest schema configuration from the check box, and click OK.

  3. In the successive dialog boxes, click OK or Yes, as applicable.

  4. Click Tools > Schema > Advanced > Create Configuration.

  5. In the Edit Configuration dialog box, in the Name box, type SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml.

  6. In the Starting configuration(s) list, select the latest schema configuration from the check box.

  7. Select the Configuration is pseudo file check box.

  8. In the Container ID box, type SPX.TAG, and click OK.

  9. Click File > Save > Schema File, and close the Schema Editor.

Validate the modified schema file

  1. Browse to the location where you checked out the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file, and replace the checked out file with the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file.

  2. In the Desktop Client, right-click the checked out CMF_Ver document, and click Launch Schema Editor.

  3. In the Set Active Configuration dialog box, select the latest schema configuration from the check box, and click OK.

  4. In the successive dialog boxes, click OK or Yes, as applicable.

  5. Click Tools > Schema > Validate > Display Results, verify that no errors are displayed, and click.

  6. Click File > Save > Schema File to save the schema.

  7. Close the Schema Editor.

  8. Open the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file in an XML viewer, and verify that IsValidated is True.

Generate tool metadata and component schema files

  1. Right-click the CMF_Ver document, and click Launch Schema Editor.

  2. In the Set Active Configuration dialog box, select the latest schema configuration from the check box, and click OK.

  3. In the successive dialog boxes, click OK or Yes, as applicable.

  4. Click Tools > Schema > Generate Component Schemas. Verify that the SPO Publish Component Schema is generated in the 04.02 folder.

  5. Click Tools > Schema > Generate Tool Metadatas.

  6. Click File > Save All Modified Files.

  7. Close the Schema Editor.

Check in the modified schema file

  1. Right-click the CMF_Ver document, and click Edit > Check In.

  2. In the Check In dialog box, click OK.
