SPO/E Core provides the following two types of ENS:

  • Unit – Type – SeqNumber

  • System – Type – SeqNumber

By default, SPO/E Core uses the Unit-Type-SeqNumber ENS. However, you can also use the System-Type-SeqNumber ENS.

The Unit ENS and System ENS are supported in an integrated environment.

Switching to the System-Type-ENS

  1. Open the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client that has SPO/E Core installed and configured on top of it.

  2. Click File > Loader.

  3. Navigate to Smart Community for sample ELF of admin and select 215 - ADMIN_TAG_SPO_SYSTEM.xml. For more information, see Find sample data on Smart Community.
