  1. Select a component type in the Material Builder tree view.

  2. In the main data area, enter an item code in the Item code box, or select an item code in the list.

  3. Enter a description for the new component in the Description box, or select a description in the list. The software only lists item codes and description data that you have previously imported into the software. See Import Material Data.

  4. In the SKEY list, select the SKEY.

  5. In the End preparation list, select an end preparation.
