This dialog box assigns key points to the points in the symbol. For more information on key points, see Key Points.
Geometry Type - Lists all points that are in the active symbol file. The software highlights points on the symbol as you select them in the list.
Load Point - Specifies that this point is a load point, also called a cardinal point. Cardinal points define the location where members with this cross section connect to other members in the model.
Alignment Point - Specifies that this point defines a location where a cross section can be aligned to another item without connecting to the other item.
Edge Feature Point - Specifies that this point is a location where an edge feature can be assigned to the cross section.
Connect Point - Specifies that this point is a location where a cross section can attach to another item, such as another cross section.
Corner Feature Point - Specifies that this point is a location where a corner feature can be assigned to the cross section.
Index Point - Specifies that this point is an index point.
Active layer only - Select to have only points that are on the active layer appear in the list. Clear this option to display all points on all layers.
Point name - Select the point type that you want to assign.
Attribute setting - Type the number that you want to assign to the point name that you selected.
