Sketch and Constrain Bounded Profile Lines - Intergraph Smart 3D - Reference Data

Web Cut

1. On the Inputs layer, sketch lines to represent the bounded part. For example, an angle has the following lines:

   • Top

   • Bottom

     

     Use the minimum number of lines necessary to define the end cut. This technique makes the symbol more flexible and usable on more profile shapes.

2. Constrain the lines to be parallel to each other.

3. Lock each line using Lock .

Flange Cut

1. On the Inputs layer, sketch lines to represent the bounded part. For example, an angle has the following lines:

   • Web_Left

   • Web_Center

   • Web_Right

   • Flange_Right
