You must first pair the TSL 1128 RFID device with the mobile device with MobileScan application installed. Perform the following steps to pair/map the TSL 1128 device with your mobile device.

If the MobileScan app is running, you must kill the MobileScan app before you start pairing the TSL 1128 device.

  1. Turn on the TSL 1128 RFID device.

    A blinking blue LED indicator indicates that the device is not paired.

  2. Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile device, and navigate to Bluetooth settings.

  3. Press the TSL 1128 RFID trigger.

    The device ID of TSL 1128 is displayed under the Available devices list on the mobile device.

    If you do not press the TSL trigger, the device ID of TSL 1128 is not displayed in the Available device list.

  4. Tap the device ID of TSL 1128 on the mobile device.

    The mobile device starts the pairing process with the TSL 1128 device.

  5. Start MobileScan application on the mobile device.

  6. Sign in to MobileScan application.

    On successful sign in, the blue LED indicator on the TSL 1128 device stops blinking, indicating that the TSL 1128 device is now paired with the mobile device.
